16 years of Spring Fiesta

What started as a grassroots celebration has grown into one of South Africa’s most anticipated annual music events.

Now in its 16th year, Spring Fiesta has built a reputation around bringing different sounds, communities and generations together under one roof — or, in this case, across six festival stages.

More than 20,000 festival-goers are expected to attend this year’s edition.

But organisers say the experience is about more than simply watching artists perform.

Festival-goers can expect live performances, exclusive collaborations, art installations, local food trucks, surprise pop-ups and other experiences throughout the day.

According to Head of Talent Zane Gulston, the festival’s 16th anniversary is about celebrating its journey while looking ahead.

“Spring Fiesta is about the music, the energy and, most importantly, the people who have been rolling with us from day one.”

Gulston says the 2026 edition is designed to celebrate the festival’s history while pushing its energy even further.

“Sixteen years on, we’re still pushing boundaries, creating unforgettable moments and bringing people together through music.”
